Events:Flyers : Stick Auction

The 14th Annual Flyers Charities Stick Auction was held Thursday, March 11, 2010 during the Flyers-Bruins game at the Wachovia Center.

Various memorabilia from sticks, to jerseys and helmets were sold from top players in the league and auctioned off for charity. Flyers Charities provided the popular game used sticks from the Philadelphia Flyers and and some of the premier players around the NHL.

The highest bids went to the Pittsburgh Penguin's Sidney Crosby's stick and the Washington Capital's Alex Ovechkin's stick. The highest bids for the Philadelphia Flyers were for Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, and James van Riemsdyk's sticks.

Proceeds from the Stick Auction benefited the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation to support area youth organizations and various healthcare initiatives.
