Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When is the Carnival?
A: The 35th Anniversary Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Carnival is scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 12:00-4:30 at the Wells Fargo Center (3601 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148).
Q: How much are admission tickets?
A: Buy early and save! Pre-purchased Early Admission tickets are $35 and will allow fans to enter the building at Noon. General Admission tickets are available for Adults ($20) and Children 12 and under ($15). Day of Event prices are: Early Admission ($40), General Admission Adult ($25), and General Admission Children ($20). There will be a special pre-sale for Flyers season ticket holders, Flyers Charities Facebook friends and Twitter followers (@FlyersCharities). For tickets, call 1-800-298-4200, or purchase online at ComcastTix.com, or in person at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.
Q: Can I pre-purchase Photograph and Autograph tickets?
A: Yes! By purchasing a Photograph or Autograph ticket, you are assured a photograph with that specific player during the Carnival. However, in the event a player is traded, injured or otherwise unable to attend the Carnival, the Autograph or Photograph ticket may be used at another available player booth. Due to time constraints, players are unable to sign autographs at Photo Booths and vice-versa. You must have an admission ticket to the Carnival in order to purchase a Photograph ticket. For tickets, call 1-800-298-4200, or purchase online at ComcastTix.com, or in person at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.
Q: What is the Claude Giroux Combo Autograph/Photograph Ticket?
A: It’s a great new feature for the Carnival that will help save fans time standing in line. Fans that purchase the Claude Giroux Autograph/Photograph Combo ticket will have one photo taken with Giroux, and will have the opportunity to get up to two items autographed at the same time. Due to time constraints, the photo taken can not be autographed.
Q: What happened to the 30-minute time slots for pre-sold experiences? How will I know when to get in line for my experience?
A: In an effort to give our fans a better experience at the Carnival and cut down on any confusion, all tickets for pre-sold experiences will cover the full time slot. For instance, fans that pre-purchase a photograph with Danny Briere will be able to get in line any time between 12-2 p.m.
Q: Why is Shot on Goal only available between 1:00-2:45 p.m.?
A: Our current Flyers goaltenders are available for a limited time in goal during the Flyers Wives Carnival. In deciding on the timing, we take into consideration the fact that they will be in full equipment for 45 minutes straight. They will be coming off a game the day before and will be getting ready for a 4-game road trip. We’re thrilled that they will be available for us the day of the Carnival.
Q: What will happen to the Shot on Goal display once the goaltenders are done?
A: Great news! Fans will still be able to take a shot on goal at the Carnival! The Shot on Goal exhibit will transform into a Shooter Tutor Carnival game where fans can win prizes for scoring a goal.
Q: I see the Stanley Cup Photo Booth is available for pre-sold purchase. Why?
A: Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Stanley Cup Photo Booth, we have decided to pre-sell the experience, which will help with line control and overcrowding in that area. The Stanley Cup photograph ticket allows for one photo with the Stanley Cup only. Due to time constraints, Flyers alumni are unable to pose for photos in the Stanley Cup booth.
Q: What players are available for advance purchase?
A: Danny Briere, Ilya Bryzgalov, Claude Giroux, Jaromir Jagr, Chris Pronger, and James van Riemsdyk are all available for advance purchase.
Q: If a player I want is not listed, can I still get a photograph or autograph of him?
A: All other players will be available at the Carnival on a first come/first serve basis. This includes Flyers and Alumni players.
Q: Do I have to have an admission ticket if I purchase an Autograph, Photograph, Stanley Cup Photo or Shot on Goal ticket?
A: Yes, all Carnival attendees must buy an admission ticket in order to be admitted into the Wells Fargo Center on the day of the Carnival.
Q: What happens if I purchase an Autograph or Photograph ticket for a player and he is not available at the Carnival?
A: In the event a player is traded, injured or otherwise unable to attend the Carnival, the Autograph or Photograph ticket may be used at another available player booth.
Q: Do I have to pay for parking on the day of the Carnival?
A: No. Parking for the Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Carnival is free!
Q: What time do doors open?
A: For Early Admission, doors will open at approximately 11:55 a.m. to allow fans to be in place in line for pre-sold experiences. For General Admission, doors will open at approximately 1:25 p.m.
